A rustic experience close to nature
Concept
Rural Escape kicks off in 2021 with the purpose of hosting and accommodating travelers in rural settings and organizing themed events. The name is the fusion of what we have to offer and what our guests can expect. A rustic experience that allows an escape from the hectic life of the urban environment. Our goal is to revitalize rural areas, boost their economy and cultivate respect for the environmnet.
We welcome our guests at Quinta do Candeeira which is a subproject focused on rural tourism and agritourism. The original house was built in 1746 and now renovated in 2021 to welcome our guests. With the same focus, the Quinta incorporates environmental and sustainable practices with the objective of positively influencing those who seek us, our community and our society.
We want to drive appreciation for the environment in order to encourage attitudes towards its perservation

A key foundation of our project, as Rural Escape longs for a community that values rural areas and focused on sustainable development.
The goal is to encourage cooperation and spark curiosity!
Come discover the medicinal side of plants, harvest what is seasonal and savor flavorful bio products. Or collect fresh eggs from the nest, learn about the species’ habits, and discover the beauty of the animal world.
We promise it’s worth it, because this is one of those experiences that without knowing how, is almost therapeutic.

Increasingly aware of the concerns associated with the future of our planet, sustainability is a must.
We have solar panels and a wind energy source; we do recycling; we take care of the agricultural environment and promote animal welfare.
